Watching the sunset from the resort is definitely a magical experience! The foods are delicious and mouth-watering. I like the room decor. Will stay again in future. You should plan for an evening walk or a morning walk around the resort's compund. This is highly recommended!

Had a fantastic stay here in May 2024. Initially we were a bit disappointed to find some renovation work was being carried out, however we realised that this was essential work to keep up the standard of the hotel. This meant the beach bar was closed however this was made up for by the tremendous service afforded to us by the Sunset Bar staff. A special mention to ALOM, SAROWAR, ADE, SAWA and MONIRUL who worked tirelessly delivering drinks and snacks either on foot or by bicycle in an extremely efficient and friendly manner. These guys really made our stay at the hotel feel very relaxed and chilled. We opted for a Lanai suite which was very comfortable with two separate bathrooms and plenty of living space. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff (too many great people to mention) were very attentive and hard working throughout our stay. The pool was great as were the water slides! The beach was very nice however jellyfish in the sea prevented any real swimming which didn’t bother us. A further mention to the security/ concierge/greeting staff and the ladies in the shops who all had a great tale to tell from where they were from. We find it fascinating meeting and learning from people from places such as Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladeshi, Bali, India. The location of the hotel is superb, plenty to do. Make sure you get the ‘GRAB’ app which is a fantastic (very cheap) way of getting out and about. Loved seeing monkeys doing their own thing around and about the hotel and the wildlife in general is a must see! Will definitely be back!

We have just returned from another amazing stay at this resort and I have to say every time we go it seems to get better and better. For a start its in a lovely location perfectly positioned in the best location on Batu Ferringhi surrounded by some great restaurants, a night market which opens 7 days a week and its only a few metres from the sea with direct access to a lovely sandy beach. However all of the above, as perfect as it is, isn't the main reason we are addicted to saying here ( we have been coming here for the last 25 years! ) Its the people that work here which make it special. The relaxed chilled vibe, great restaurants, facilities and commitment to the total satisfaction of the guests is testament to the skill and dedication of the whole team. A big thank you to all of the staff but especially Mr Wan in Cinnamon, Sue in Javana, John, Adeline and Edward for making this stay extra special. We cant wait to come back soon!!

During my recent stay at Parkroyal Hotel Penang, I ventured over to the beach bar anticipating a relaxing evening by the sea, only to find it temporarily closed due to renovations. Although initially disappointed, my experience quickly took a positive turn thanks to Zul, a remarkable crew member at the hotel. His welcoming demeanor and exceptional service salvaged my evening. Zul not only suggested alternative seating areas but also accompanied me to my seat, where he provided detailed information about the available drink options. Throughout the evening, he periodically checked in to ensure my comfort, engaged in friendly conversation, shared laughs, and recommended new drinks to try, such as the Red Snapper. Thanks to Zul's outstanding hospitality, my initial disappointment transformed into a delightful and relaxing experience. Despite the temporary closure, it's clear why the beach bar at Parkroyal Hotel is considered the best among those on Ferringgi Beach. Zul's attentiveness and expertise in guest service truly enhanced my visit, making it memorable and enjoyable.

I would highly recommend the PARKRoyal Penang Resort for an excellent vacation to relax, excellent facilities & staff. The room was spacious, clean, well serviced & all the facilities worked. The external area of the gardens, tables, lounges, pool & customer services were supported by friendly & helpful staff. Our experience was greatly enhanced by the excellent service provided by Tasnim from reception who ensured that the PARKROYAL met our needs.
